Soccer Recap: Immanuel Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Immanuel was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. They and the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears finished up their match with a 0-0 draw. The outcome might've been different if Victor Rodriguez hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Immanuel's draw gives them a new season record of 9-5-2. Meanwhile, Sierra Pacific's record is now 5-9-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Immanuel will square off against Reedley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sierra Pacific, they will head out on the road to face off against Kingsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sierra Pacific's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
