Baseball Recap: Muhlenberg Triumphs

The Muhlenberg Muhls beat the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders 5-2 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Muhls.

Eli Keller was excellent, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cooper Burr, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.

Muhlenberg's record is now 2-0. As for Lancaster Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Muhlenberg will square off against Governor Mifflin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Governor Mifflin will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Muhlenberg surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lancaster Catholic, they will face off against Twin Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
