Basketball Recap: Poth Comes Up Short

After flying high against Eagle Pass on Tuesday, Poth came back down to earth. The Pirates took a 54-35 bruising from the Mabank Panthers on Thursday.

Poth's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Mabank, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Poth didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-41 victory against Taft on the 4th. As for Mabank, they and The Woodlands will face off at 10:00 a.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
