Volleyball Recap: Bridgeport Beats Lewis County for Their Third Straight Win

Bridgeport entered their tilt with Lewis County on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Minutemen. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since October 2nd.

Taylor Randolph paced Bridgeport's offense, picking up 11 kills. Randolph got some help from Addison Veigel and her 18 assists. Veigel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Bridgeport's victory bumped their record up to 27-11-5. As for Lewis County, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-17-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Bridgeport will challenge Buckhannon-Upshur at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lewis County, they will venture away from home to take on Parkersburg at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
