Softball Recap: South Bend Adams Find Success

While South Bend Adams didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They won by a run and slipped past the Leo Lions 3-2. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.

Avery Kidwell was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

South Bend Adams has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Leo, they moved to 10-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

South Bend Adams wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-1 defeat against Edwardsburg on the 26th. As for Leo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 victory against Peru on the 26th.
