Basketball Recap: Trinity Wins Going Away Against Making Waves Academy

Trinity's tournament run continued when they took on Making Waves Academy on Friday. The Trinity Wolves blew past the Making Waves Academy Marlins 67-44. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 23 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Carver Dresselhaus, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Ryker Robles, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Making Waves Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Trinity didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-46 win against Clear Lake on the 4th. As for Making Waves Academy, they will face off against College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
