Basketball Game Preview: Bells Panthers vs. Pottsboro Cardinals

Bells hasn't had much luck against Pottsboro recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Bells Panthers take on the Pottsboro Cardinals at 6:15 p.m. Bells will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Friday, Bells beat Leonard 54-43.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pottsboro). They blew past S & S Consolidated, posting a 72-37 win. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Bells has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points per game. As for Pottsboro, they pushed their record up to 27-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Bells and Pottsboro were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting on January 3rd, but Bells came up empty-handed after a 39-38 defeat. Can Bells avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
