Washougal has gone 9-1 against Woodland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will square off against the Beavers at 4:30 p.m. Washougal will be strutting in after a win while Woodland will be coming in after a loss.

Washougal hadn't beaten Mark Morris on the road since March 31, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the Monarchs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since April 3rd.

Meanwhile, Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Columbia River.

Washougal's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Woodland, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-11.

Washougal was able to grind out a solid win over Woodland when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 8-3. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Beavers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
