Softball Recap: Postville Comes Up Short

Postville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Kee Kee Hawks, falling 10-0. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 12-2 to the Kee Hawks when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Postville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kee, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Postville will welcome South Winneshiek at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Kee, they will host Riceville at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
