South Anchorage put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their undefeated season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bartlett Golden Bears a 13-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Faith Hughes as she scored three goals for her team.

South Anchorage's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Bartlett, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

South Anchorage wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 12-0 win against West Anchorage on the 29th. As for Bartlett, they have also already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against West Valley on the 25th.
