Volleyball Recap: Pickens Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pickens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Union County Panthers. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-12.

Pickens now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Union County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pickens will head out to face off against North Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union County, they will challenge Stephens County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
