Yough came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Derry, but Max Doherty wouldn't allow it. The Trojans blew past the Cougars 47-20 on Friday for which the team can thank Doherty, who rushed for 148 yards and one score on only six carries. Derry is 5-2 when Doherty posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Although Yough took the loss, they still got scores from John R Gergely, Joey Bibby, and Ryan Sarver.

The win (which was Derry's third in a row) raised their record to 6-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.0 points over those games. As for Yough, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Derry has already played their next game, a 14-0 loss against Highlands on the 31st. Yough does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
