Basketball Recap: Blaine Takes a Loss

Blaine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Sedro-Woolley Cubs 77-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Borderites have suffered against the Cubs since February 1, 2018.

Blaine's record now sits at 2-17. As for Sedro-Woolley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Coming up, Blaine will challenge Mt. Baker at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mt. Baker has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Sedro-Woolley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
