Softball Recap: Triton Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rushford-Peterson, Triton was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Fillmore Central/Lanesboro Falcons 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cobras have posted since April 30th.

Triton's victory bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Fillmore Central/Lanesboro, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Triton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Caledonia on the 18th. Fillmore Central/Lanesboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
