Soccer Game Preview: Woodland Christian vs. Lindhurst

The Woodland Christian Cardinals will head out on the road to square off against the Lindhurst Blazers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Woodland Christian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against Esparto on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Spartans. The Cardinals have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Lindhurst entered their tilt with Rio Vista on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Rams 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Blazers, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Lindhurst is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those seven games. As for Woodland Christian, they now have a losing record at 6-7-1.
