Basketball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

After flying high against Johnson on Friday, Woodland came back down to earth. The Woodland Wolfpack had to suffer through a 89-44 loss at the hands of the Hebron Christian Lions. The matchup marked the Wolfpack's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Hebron Christian, their win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Woodland and Hebron Christian should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Woodland (ranked 107th) will meet Locust Grove (ranked 476th) at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Meanwhile, Hebron Christian will square off against East Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025 up 477 places (1 vs. 478).
