There's no place like home for South Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They breezed past the Hertford County Bears to the tune of 72-17 on Tuesday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 60-9.

South Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jazmine Farrington led the charge by going 6-for-12 en route to 15 points. Taylor Jacobs was another key player, shooting 45% from the field on her way to 16 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Despite the loss, Hertford County saw an underclassman step up: freshman Da'Zhiya Everette posted nine points.

The victory got South Central back to even at 1-1.

South Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-47 win against Overhills on the 29th. As for Hertford County, they have also already played their next game, a 55-27 victory against Washington on the 2nd.
