Softball Recap: Shepherd Comes Up Short

Shepherd fell victim to Frankenmuth and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Bluejays' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Shepherd's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10-1. As for Frankenmuth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-10.

Looking ahead, Shepherd will head out on the road to challenge Farwell at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frankenmuth, they will welcome Swan Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
