Volleyball Recap: Upperman Comes Up Short

Upperman saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the North Oldham Mustangs. The Bees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bella Tidwell paced Upperman's offense, picking up three kills. Tidwell got some help from Emery Huddleston and her eight assists. Huddleston was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

North Oldham's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashlyn Thompson, who had seven digs and two assists.

Upperman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for North Oldham, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Upperman has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against East Hamilton on the 23rd. As for North Oldham, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Siegel on the 23rd.
