Baseball Recap: Killeen Comes Up Short

Killeen fell victim to Temple and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 19-0 to the Wildcats. The Kangaroos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 7-5.

Killeen has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for Temple, their win bumped their record up to 5-16-1.

Coming up, Killeen is taking a road trip to face off against Midway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Kangaroos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Temple, they will be playing at home against Bryan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
