Volleyball Recap: Newtown Nighthawks vs. Masuk Panthers
After flying high against Stratford last Monday, Newtown came back down to earth. The Newtown Nighthawks fell just short of the Masuk Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Nighthawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Newtown took a 2-0 lead headed into the third set, but sadly they lost the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 28-30, 25-20, 25-20, 15-9.

Newtown's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Masuk, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
