It was a proper cat-fight when Whitesboro duked it out with Bells on Friday. The Bearcats managed a 20-14 victory over the Panthers. This was payback for the Bearcats, who suffered an 18-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Among those leading the charge was Colt Fagan, who rushed for 70 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 129 yards and one touchdown. Whitesboro also got a significant boost from Justin Knight, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 118 yards.

Whitesboro has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 32.5 points this season. As for Bells, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Whitesboro will challenge Graham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bells, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Plainview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
