Gurdon and Ouachita are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Devils will challenge the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Gurdon's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three games, but Wednesday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Gurdon came up short against Poyen and fell 6-1.

Gurdon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mikaela Bradshaw, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Ouachita suffered their biggest loss since March 17th on Monday. They lost 9-1 to Hampton. The Warriors have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Ouachita's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Gurdon, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Gurdon suffered a grim 16-4 defeat to Ouachita in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Can the Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
