Recap: Roosevelt Teddies vs. Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grand Rapids, the Roosevelt Teddies were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They managed a 45-40 victory over Cretin-Derham Hall. This was payback for Roosevelt, who suffered a 53-46 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Roosevelt's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Wren, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cady Davis, who scored 8 points.
Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will take on St. Anthony Village at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Stillwater at 7:00 p.m.
