Basketball Game Preview: Burrillville Broncos vs. Cranston West Falcons

The Burrillville Broncos will head out to face off against the Cranston West Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Burrillville has three straight wins, Cranston West has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Burrillville didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Cranston West, but they still walked away with a 72-68 victory.

Logan Gelinas and Jack Belluzzi were among the main playmakers for Burrillville as the former went 6 of 11 on his way to 26 points and eight rebounds and the latter went 5 for 7 on his way to 17 points and six rebounds. Those 17 points gave Belluzzi a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Dichiaro, who posted five points.

Burrillville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive games.

Cranston West's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Burrillville, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
