Soccer Game Preview: King's Way Christian vs. Stevenson

The King's Way Christian Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Stevenson Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Stevenson took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on King's Way Christian, who comes in off a win.

King's Way Christian is headed into the game without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Toledo get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Monday. King's Way Christian have beaten Toledo the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Toledo has come to flipping the script.

King's Way Christian's offense was hitting Toledo from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Luke Gomes led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Stevenson came up short against Toledo on Friday and fell 3-1. Stevenson haven't had much luck with Toledo recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Stevenson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for King's Way Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-0-2.

King's Way Christian took their victory against Stevenson when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for King's Way Christian since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
