Basketball Recap: Helix Comes Up Short

After flying high against Monte Vista last Tuesday, Helix came back down to earth. The Helix Highlanders fell to the Steele Canyon Cougars 57-53. The Highlanders have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Helix's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Steele Canyon, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-9.

As of now, neither Helix nor Steele Canyon have any future games scheduled.
