Baseball Recap: South Park Triumphs

South Park owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Armstrong River Hawks.

South Park's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Armstrong, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

South Park will square off against Connellsville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 3.1, the Falcons 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Armstrong does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
