Basketball Recap: Hanover Comes Up Short

Hanover lost against Boiling Springs back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Nighthawks lost 57-33 to the Bubblers.

Ethan Yenser was the offensive standout of the matchup as he posted 20 points. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Mandell, who scored nine points.

Hanover's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Boiling Springs, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Hanover will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on York Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on the 9th. As for Boiling Springs, they have already played their next game, a 64-47 victory against Littlestown on the 2nd.
