Volleyball Recap: Frankton Comes Up Short

Frankton was the 2-0 winner over Northeastern when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Saturday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Macy Curtis paced Frankton's offense, picking up five kills. Curtis were helped by Claire Osborne and Kaydence Banda, who contributed six assists each.

Frankton's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Northeastern, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Frankton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Madison-Grant on the 30th. As for Northeastern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Knightstown on the 30th.
