Baseball Recap: Paradise Valley Sets Scoring Season-High Against Gila Ridge

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sunrise Mountain, Paradise Valley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Gila Ridge Hawks 16-6. The Trojans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Paradise Valley let Braedan Lewis and Adair Ortiz run wild. Lewis scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances, while Ortiz went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. Paradise Valley is 2-1 when Lewis posts two or more runs, but 0-3 otherwise. Joey Jankowski also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
