Nick Scraper leads Round Mountain to victory over Wells

The Round Mountain Knights came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Wells by a score of 60-52. That's another feather in the cap for Round Mountain, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Nick Scraper was a one-man wrecking crew for Round Mountain as he scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Scraper has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Marquez Zamora, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.

Round Mountain has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Wells, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Round Mountain will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nevada (Spring Mountain is ranked 62nd, while the Knights are ranked 68th). As for Wells, they will head out on the road to square off against the Vandals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
