Football Game Recap: Lewisburg vs. Saltillo

After having lost a blowout in their contest last week, Saltillo were happy to find some success on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 28-10 win over Lewisburg. The victory was some much needed relief for Saltillo as it spelled the end of their four-game losing streak.

The victory bumped Saltillo's record up to 2-8. Lewisburg's defeat makes it five in a row and drags their record down to 2-7.

It's more conference action for Saltillo and Lewisburg in their upcoming matches. Saltillo will square off against West Point at 7:00 PM next week. West Point are cruising in on a six-game winning streak. As for Lewisburg, they will face off against Grenada. Those two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses for Lewisburg and four for Grenada.
