Tyler Legacy took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Rockwall-Heath, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tyler Legacy Raiders skirted past the Rockwall-Heath Hawks 3-2. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 10-0 victory the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Tyler Legacy and bumps their season record up to 6-4. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Rockwall-Heath, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Tyler Legacy will square off against Rusk at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Rockwall-Heath will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Royse City at 7:00 p.m. on April 1st.
