Volleyball Recap: Gateway Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gateway came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Vista PEAK Prep Bison, falling 3-0. The Olympians have struggled against the Bison recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-6, 25-15.

Leading Vista PEAK Prep to victory were Madelyn Eltzroth and Ava Eltzroth. Madelyn had 12 assists and two aces, while Ava had eight assists and three aces. That's the most assists Madelyn has posted since back in September of 2024.

Gateway now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Vista PEAK Prep, the win was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Gateway has already played their next contest (against Westminster), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they will square off against Centaurus at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
