Football Recap: Naples Golden Eagles vs. Immokalee Indians
Naples put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 47-0 win over the Immokalee Indians at home. Fans of the Golden Eagles have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ point.
Naples had a senior duo take command as Shawn Simeon rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries and Trayvon Jean rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. With that strong performance, Jean is now averaging an impressive 107.3 rushing yards per game.
