Volleyball Recap: Make It 12 in a Row for Albuquerque Homeschool

Albuquerque HomeSchool put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Varsity Opponent as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the 12th time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory on Thursday.

Albuquerque HomeSchool not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Varsity Opponent between 13 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Teara Westfall, who had seven digs and five aces.

Westfall wasn't the only good server: Albuquerque HomeSchool was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 15 aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Albuquerque HomeSchool's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0.

Coming up, Albuquerque HomeSchool will challenge South Valley Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sunnybrook Christian at 9:00 a.m. on December 2, 2030.
