Taylor has gone a perfect 10-0 against Interlachen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home field against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. Taylor is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.9 runs per game this season.

Taylor easily dispatched Atlantic on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Wildcats fell just short of Trinity Catholic by a score of 8-6 on Thursday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Celtics recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Amya Ramos made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Lane, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Interlachen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against P.K. Yonge, falling 8-2.

Ashlynn Poole was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Baileigh Riddley, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Interlachen, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Interlachen's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Taylor has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. It's a different story for Interlachen, though, as they've been averaging 10.6 hits. Given Taylor's sizable advantage in that area, the Rams will need to find a way to close that gap.

Taylor took their victory against Interlachen when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 20-3 score. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
