Volleyball Recap: Norwell Triumphs

The Norwell Knights earned a 3-1 win over the Fort Wayne Wayne Generals on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Norwell had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-19, 25-9, 25-21.

Norwell's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Norwell will square off against Peru at 6:00 p.m. on the 8th. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, they will challenge Fort Wayne Snider at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Generals surely won't give up without a fight.
