Baseball Recap: Westover Takes a Loss

Westover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 13-0 to the Triton Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Westover's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Triton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Coming up, Westover will face off against Overhills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westover will need to watch out since Overhills has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Triton, they will square off against Pine Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Triton's pitchers better be ready for this one: Pine Forest has averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season.
