Encina posted their biggest win since December 13, 2024 on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 56-25 victory over the Victory Christian Vikings. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won five in a row.

Leading Encina to victory were Elise Brandon and Khaliah McDonald. Brandon dropped a double-double with 30 points and 20 rebounds, while McDonald dropped a double-double with 22 points and 25 boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which Brandon has scored at least a third of Encina's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zola Wilson, who posted two points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Encina smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 38 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 16 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Encina's victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Victory Christian, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.
