Franklin had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Smoky Mountain Mustangs. Even though Franklin got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Jose Dominguez was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Franklin hit Smoky Mountain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Pablo Odilon (2), Kevin Torres, and Cristian Vasquez-Cruz.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 8-12-2. As for Smoky Mountain, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-14-1.

Looking ahead, Franklin will welcome West Henderson at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. West Henderson will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last. As for Smoky Mountain, they will head out on the road to square off against North Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
