Volleyball Recap: Lydia Cole-Tinkham and Abby Danielson Secure Win for Stillwater Christian

Stillwater Christian lost to Varsity Opponent back in September of 2020, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Cougars blew past Varsity Opponent 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15, 25-19.

Leading Stillwater Christian to victory were Abby Danielson and Lydia Cole-Tinkham. Danielson had four aces and one block, while Cole-Tinkham had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces Danielson has posted over her last six contests. Jayne Warren also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Stillwater Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. They are 10-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Stillwater Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Stillwater Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Flathead Valley on the 7th. As for Varsity Opponent, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against New Mexico School for the Deaf on the 4th.
