Fort Meade beats Tenoroc for their seventh straight win

Recap: Fort Meade Miners vs. Tenoroc Titans

The Fort Meade Miners put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 56-0 victory over Tenoroc. The result was nothing new for Fort Meade, who have now won five games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Leading Fort Meade to victory were Carson Montsdeoca and Keveun Mason. Montsdeoca threw for 165 yards and four touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes, while Mason rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Mason is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last seven games he's played.

Fort Meade's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Ashton White and his two sacks.

Fort Meade's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-0. As for Tenoroc, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Meade will take on Frostproof at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Frostproof will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 274th, while Fort Meade is ranked 121st). Tenoroc will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Trenton at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
