O'Fallon is 9-1 against Waterloo since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. O'Fallon will be playing in front of their home fans against Waterloo at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

O'Fallon made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Joliet Catholic, but they still couldn't quite topple them. O'Fallon blew past Joliet Catholic 12-3 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Connor Blue made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Blue was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dane Hrasky, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Sam McCollum was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Waterloo made easy work of Murphysboro on Saturday and carried off a 14-8 win.

O'Fallon now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Waterloo, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Everything went O'Fallon's way against Waterloo in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as O'Fallon made off with a 19-2 win. Does O'Fallon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Waterloo turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
