Volleyball Recap: Hun Wins Going Away Against Mercersburg Academy

Hun had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Mercersburg Academy on Saturday. The Raiders put the hurt on the Storm with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Hun was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-21.

Hun found their leader in sophomore Eva Cannon, who had 16 kills, ten aces, and seven digs. Another player making a difference was Riley Burg, who had four digs and three aces.

Hun is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. As for Mercersburg Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Hun is taking a road trip to take on Voorhees at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mercersburg Academy, they will take on GVCS Broadfording at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
