Burns put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the La Grande Tigers 38-6. This was payback for the Hilanders, who suffered a 27-14 loss the last time these two teams met.

Burns' win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for La Grande, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burns will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Umatilla at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. After each having a week off, La Grande and Ontario will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. La Grande will be up against Ontario's rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
