Soccer Recap: Wekiva Finishes Even with East River

For the first time since back in November, Wekiva was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and the East River Falcons finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: the Mustangs' Karl Dorsainvil and Keifer Perez and the Falcons' Nicholas Galindo were all carded.

Kevin Fuentes-Ortega and Billy Pu Lopez scored both of Wekiva's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Wekiva's draw gives them a new season record of 2-9-2. As for East River, they moved theirs to 3-7-1.

Wekiva didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Jones on the 19th. East River has also already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against Colonial on the 20th.
