South Anchorage entered their tilt with West Anchorage on Saturday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 9th.

Indy Kmet paced South Anchorage's offense, picking up seven kills. Kmet got some help from Ellie Kleven and her 20 assists. Kleven was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

South Anchorage's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for West Anchorage, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18-2.

South Anchorage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Kenai Central on the 27th.
