Softball Recap: North Garland Takes a Loss

North Garland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 21-1 to the Wylie Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-1 back in February.

North Garland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Wylie, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. North Garland is set to square off against their familiar foe Lakeview Centennial at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Wylie will face off against rival Sachse at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Wylie is on a three-game streak of home wins, Sachse a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
